Master planning and building design for a Training Institution with a land area of more than 50 acres. Overall planning focuses on clear zoning, visual connection between zones and continuous linear parks across the site. A sleek modern design is applied to the various buildings.
Design proposal for a 7000ft² bungalow at the serene Gita Bayu enclave in Selangor.
The bungalow is given a contemporary “gable-roof” look accompanied by clean lines & modern materials. Internally, 2 double volume spaces were created at where the staircases are.
A second exterior option was proposed that took on a modern look that emphasises on verticality with an elegant pitch roof.
SUNWAY COLLEGE & STYLO: Fashion Design Technology Hub
9,000 sqft of interior renovation + entry design for a new fashion hub. The design explored different geometry relating to folding and pleating pattern of cloth making.
We were engaged to assist with the space and strategy planning for the existing 600,000ft² Sunway College campus at Subang Jaya for 2017. More than 20 departments and 50 key personals were interviewed to create the brief for the space planning.
Key planning strategies includes promoting open-plan working environment, creating better connectivity between the North and South buildings, consolidating the existing spaces which were scattered around the campus, making use of natural lighting & ventilation and providing better environment that encourages student’s learning and interaction.
Phase 1 was completed in December 2015 while Phase 2 was completed in December 2016.
The glove factory is made up of two large steel structures connected by a link bridge and a small cafeteria at the side. Careful layout planning was done to ensure the circulation of the factory is smooth and safe for the workers.
The facades are lined with numerous vertical window panels to allow ample of natural light into the factory, rows of louvred windows lined the top of the roof for good air ventilation.
This mixed development in the heart of Ipoh consists of 2 towers: a 27-storey serviced apartment and a 13-storey hotel with retail shops located on the ground level.
The facade of the towers display modern elegance with a sense of verticality. The height of the towers allow residents and hotel guests to enjoy the spectacular view of Gunung Lang and the Ipoh old town.
