This is a competition with the intention of reviving Petaling Street area into a lively and attractive place based on ideas we derived from Shibuya.

​Shibuya’s charm is shaped by its diverse inhabitants. Shibuya exhibited a lifestyle that celebrates the difference in built-forms, human activities, cultures and mixed-aged group, with a trendy blend of advanced techonolgy. As the Petaling Street area has similar kind of complex historical background, we seek to insert the “Shibuya Style” at the area to bring back life into the local scene and create a Shibuya Walk along the streets.
